About Us
Plural is an organization design + change consultancy
fit for an abundant yet uncertain world.
We partner with ambitious leaders to build more empowered, adaptive and brave organizations.
We built Plural to help leaders move beyond slide decks and slogans, and into the practical side of change. Our work encompasses organization and governance design, leadership coaching and development, team acceleration and scaled transformation.
We believe that today’s most successful teams win through how they work. While many organizations remain mired in models + mindsets of the past, we help our clients move forward – designing structures and systems that evolve, and cultures that harness the highest potential in people.
Our team is headquartered in Toronto, networked globally, and has partnered with Fortune 100 enterprises, global non-profits & scale-ups.
Walking the Talk
We strive to ‘walk the talk’ in our own work, and thus treat Plural as a sort of ‘test-kitchen’ for new ways of working. Here are just a few of the ways we put our principles into practice inside Plural:
Self-managed
We’re self-organized, because we believe that when people have the information, resources and support they need, they’re more than capable of doing great work without a boss directing them.
Flexible, remote work
We’re a fully remote team, and manage our own time. While highly collaborative, we also trust each other to work independently when + where it works best for each of us.
Radically transparent
We make all business information open to Plural team members, because we believe that it leads to better work, higher quality decisions, and increased trust.
Continuous evolution
We believe in continuous experimentation and participatory evolution in how we work and organize ourselves. All of our team members are actively engaged in continually (re)designing Plural.
B Corp (Pending)
We aspire to be responsible actors and participants in the systems we engage in, and to use business as a force for good—for our clients, our communities, and the planet.
Our People
Plural is a team of organization design & change practitioners who share a fierce conviction that creating more empowered, adaptive, and brave organizations is possible and necessary in today’s uncertain world.

Mark spends most of his at-work time considering a riddle: How can we organize for scale in a complex and uncertain world – and not break? It’s a challenge that requires rethinking almost every aspect of how organizations function – from structure, strategy and decision-making to how we collaborate, innovate and reward.
Inspired by a deep commitment to reinvent organizations, Mark is sought out by leadership teams around the world as a speaker, advisor, and coach. For over 15 years, he has worked closely with Fortune 500 leaders – including at Google, Chanel, PepsiCo, Doctors Without Borders, and Penguin Random House – helping them transition to a more responsive and human-centred operating model.
Beyond keynotes at Lean Startup, Creative Mornings, EDITx and MaRS, Mark has co-developed and taught a masterclass in Responsive Organization Design – refined through workshops at leading graduate schools, including Harvard and Yale.

Driven by a lifelong fascination in how the ‘invisible architecture’ of culture shapes how people live and work together (and is shaped by them in return), Jane helps leaders and teams see, and act on, new opportunities for how to collaborate and organize.
Prior to joining Plural, Jane held HR and OD leadership roles within the private, non-profit, and public sectors, where she spent more than 15 years helping leaders, teams, and organizations to evolve how they collaborate and grow. She holds a Master's in Human Systems Intervention.

Alison is a culture and transformation consultant interested in how systems shape behaviour — and what that means for how individuals and organizations adapt, change, and grow. She has experience in working with leaders and teams around the world and across sectors: from technology to consumer goods, to financial services and hospitality. She takes a participatory approach to change, focusing on bridging the gap between organizational vision and the day-to-day of the people who bring it to life

A long-time admirer of the beauty of systems, people, and the less tangible spaces between, Mini finds joy in navigating and refining the unique operations cocktail of what works best for each team.
